Swinging?

Good Morning, Ladies!
So I have a silly question.
What is the meaning behind "swinging" for people?
Only swinging definition I know is.. *ahem*.. LOL

No question is ever silly!

We use the term swinging chickens or lizards (or whatever you got) to ask for good thoughts and prayers with out offending anyone's religious views. Atleast thats my take on it.
