Fitness Challeng - December 1
I want to do Curves 4-5 days a week. I have done 3 so far this week. I also want to get on the floor. I know that sounds odd, but I haven't gotten in the floor to exercise in years and years. So Yoga, pilates kind of stuff, not much but a start.

My goal is related to ballet. I guess there are 2:
1. I want to get back on pointe, and I won't let myself do that until I see the scale read 130. I could do it earlier - I think I'm ready - but I want it so bad that it makes me more motivated to reach that weight goal. Plus, the smaller the size, the better, really, to put all that pressure on my joints, etc. Pointe is pretty intense.
2. I want to get stronger in ballet, period. My pirouettes are still sloppy, my extensions should be better (and they are, but can continue to get better) and I need to be even more flexible. These are the sorts of things I can improve just by working hard at a few more ballet classes over the month. So I'm focused on trying to make that happen, though it's really hard because my evenings are precious work time.
As for today, I ran on the treadmill - 3 miles in around 28 minutes. I HATE TREADMILLS. But the weather was so dreadful, I wasn't going to try an outdoor run. I guess it was good to see myself running at 6.0 and above and feeling 100% comfortable with it. I remember when I first started "running" (more like 3.5, with peaks at 5 that nearly killed me) back in September. Seems so long ago, since then I've been outside! :)
Thanks for the challenge, Diana!
