Fitness Challeng - December 1
Well, LW's....we are in December!!! Wow. 23 more days until Christmas Eve!! Jeesh...30 days until we all ring in a New Year!!
I think we should spice things up a bit. For the month of December...what challenges do you want to conquer? Let's set an obtainable goal to bring us through this month and start off strong the new year.
My fitness goal for this month is to do cardio at least 5 days a week at mid to high intensity. I usually set a caloric burn limit for each workout so I will set it to at least 350 cal burned each cardio session. Usually a 45 min session. I will also set a goal to do resistance training (weights, etc) 3 days a week.
What goals would you like to set?
What are your fitness plans today? My plans will be cardio and lower body weights.

Id like to run and do sit ups and even skate when possible . Im getting a lot of movement in just working at my construction site and renovating ( singlehandedly ! howd i get stuck with THAT ) my new hubbys run- down house to put it on the market ......but still.... id like some mind- freeing and lung - expanding real EXERCISE too .....
also i plan to finally set up the pilates machine i purchased last October which still hasnt made it out of its box and do some yoga as well in the mornings and rowing for my posture .

Today is my day off, so I am trying to focus on homework and resting. I may do a short walk on the treadmill while DS naps though. My leg feels totally better today, maybe it was a severe cramp and not a pull? I don't care, as long as it's better!
My goals for the month are to start building up my endurance running and not do so many intervals. I don't need to burn fat anymore, I just run for the health aspects now. I would also like to start doing more weight training. I have really slacked in that department lately and my weight bench is getting lonely.

I am stuck at wor****il like 8:00 or later tonight. I HAVE to do some fitness when I get home. I haven't ran since my long run on Sunday, Monday I did elliptical, yesterday nothing. I did not meet my every day workout goal. I get a little panicky when I don't work out.
So, tonight I am gonna do it as soon as the wine wears off. I don't HAVE to drink wine at this dinner, but I wouldn't want to be rude to our Chinese visitors.

We had some crazy weather today. My first walk was in a light rain, a little wind and almost 64 degrees. After lunch and a rather heavy rain, I walked again and the temp had dropped 20 degrees. The last walk it was sunny and cold. lol Winter, here we go!
