Well, yesterday was 5 weeks' out for me, and i am down 24 pounds. I feel awesome and have been back working in my salon since 1 week out. Well, I haven't told most of my clients, and have been quietly wondering how long it will take or how much weight loss it'll take before anyone notices.  (I don't mind patiently waiting) Well, my last appt. of the day who I see every two weeks, looked at me walking across the room and asked if I had lost weight. I smiled and said, "yes, a little. I'm working really hard on it." She was very congratulatory and sincere. Asked a few questions, and went on with her day. I suspect she is the beginning of many, as I am down one size already and sense I may be a "12" by Christmas (Well, maybe!)! I also lost 15 pounds before surgery due to my stress levels, so really I am well on my way with 39 pounds gone.

I can honestly say I am just now beginning to get excited to buy newer, smaller fashions. I have enough clothes for now to get by from my past dieting escapades. I also think that helps me be incognito as they are not "new" fashions just yet. Just newly recycled clothes that were hybernating!

Congratulations.  I'm sure a lot more will start noticing and commenting.  Sounds like you are doing a great job!!

 You are doing awesome Kim.  I am so excited for you.  Soon I will be joining you on the losers bench.  It will be my time before I know it.

Good for you.  It will happen more and more.  Be careful to not buy too much, you will be in and out of them really quickly.  I shop at thrift stores and have already gone through my closet and the next size down, working on another.  Try things on weekly because it seems to change that quickly, between a little snug, to just right, to too big.

 Get ready for some shopping girl - you are on your way down!  Great job, I bet you are feeling good about your self !

Congrats!!  Doesn't it feel great when people start noticing.  I think one person commented when I was down 30lb, then all of a sudden everybody was noticing when I was down 50lb.  Yep, you'll be through your "recyclables" in no time and headed off to the stores...It is SO MUCH fun shopping for small clothes, cause they look SO GOOD on!!  Congrats again.
