I think you look hot! Who cares what they think? I think that show does help people, but I don't always like what they do. It's always an improvement from where they started, but not always the greatest. Like you said, many of these people making comments were not attractive themselves, and in my opinion, probably very jealous. I'm not a fan of people saying "too old for an outfit" etc. I mean, maybe a belly shirt on a 50 year old would be inappropriate, but for the most part, if you can pull it off, wear it! Bottom line, you look good and feel good, so who cares what "they" think.

Thank you so much Shannon.  I was really surprised by the "too old' thing too because now days I see lots of older women wearing "younger" and "trendier" styles and they look great and they still look classy.  Screw the haters!!

I always think it's funny because my daughters made a list of all of their family members oldest to youngest...they said DH's mom was the oldest and my mom the youngest out of the grandparents. My mom is way older than DH's mom. But my mom is totally in shape and in style, wears her hair cute, etc. DH's mom has a "boy" haircut and *no offense to anyone* dresses like an old school teacher. (weird colored slacks and patterned turtle necks with a seasonal vest). Stay trendy.

All I can say to those IDIOTS who have absolutely NO sense of fashion is STFU!  You DO look freakin awesome!  If the jeans you are wearing are that unflattering and unpopular why is it that you can hardly find anything BUT them in the stores???  I love me some Silvers....and it's the faded, destroyed ones that I like best!  Jealousy is an ugly thing.......I only hope I'll be lookin as sexy and hot as you when I'm 41!  Some people just have a problem with anyone over 30 wearing clothes that you see on 20 somethings........But I say if you can wear it ROCK IT!

Oh I like it...thank you!!  And you are right, this type of jean is in all the stores NOW so how can it be so wrong?  And, just try finding cute jeans that aren't low rise...almost all jeans are low rise these days that's why these older women are so frustrated.  And, if they are soooo unflattering then why do all the young girls look so dang hot these days?  The one who said I was too old for them complimented me on everything but the jeans (even said the rise was fine because I had a great figure) so I was thinking, "hmmm, she DOES think I look good yet she is telling me I shouldn't be wearing them..." so you are right, she is just stuck with the wrong mentality about age and appropriate dress.  It has definitely been an interesting exercise. lol
