D:  Egg Beater omlet w/ LC Lite Cheese & Canadian Bacon
S:  CarbSmart Fudge Bar - this was delicious!!
Totals:
Calories 1080, carbs 78, fat 33, protein 120
Vitamins:  Done
Water:  100 ozs
Miles:  None

Dolly is 78 yrs. young.  She works the front desk and she is one smart cookie.  They say there isn't anything they can do for her but she insists she is coming back to work.   She just got approved for part time the day she went into the hospital and then with the other lady retiring they are going to start interviewing soon.

It is a good thing they can replace them.  Most of our government jobs are frozen right now and we just have to work with what we have.

breakfast 1 egg w/ cheese
lunch (I just made this and LOVE it!)  whole wheat pasta (cooked and cooled) mixed with chopped celery/carrots, lf mayo, albacore tuna, balsamic vinager and pepper! (my version of macaroni salad)
Dinner same
snack 1 protein hot cocoa

I am aiming for 65 - 75g of protein (my doc says NO thinking calories as this is NOT a diet.  If I am eating my protein I will be too full to get to many other calories).  I do count them a bit though.. and typically get between 650 - 850 a day (I am still only 6 weeks out)

Total 75g protein
I definitely get my vitamins in every day and then just keep pushing fluid.  I think I should try to keep track of my fluid and I do 4 days a week of 30 mins on the treadmill.

Hi Roz, I can relate. Work for me has been crazy too. How dare work try to take over our lives! LOL

Today, I am a little "off". Here's the menu:

Protein coffee
Fage yogurt - breakfast
Lunch - we had to taste 12 dishes (all sorts) and judge them for a contest at work.
      Needless to say, I ate lots of carbs.
Dinner - I am having a traditional chinese meal catered at a local restaurant. There
      will be lots of wine and food. Probably lots more carbs

Exercise - I'll be getting home after 8pm and most likely going through a little carb/wine crash. BUT I swear, I am getting my butt on the elliptical for an hour or hitting the street for a run. I have a little shinsplint and I'm trying to take it easy this week.

Vitamins - Fine

Water - Fine because I'm chugging down the tea today!
