10 weeks out and down 50 pounds
I got on the scale yesterday morning and it said I'd lost 50 pounds since I started this journey! I am amazed! Just amazed. I have 55 pounds to my initial goal of 165. If I hit that goal, we'll see if I go lower.
I'm one of the lucky ones. This has not been the most difficult journey for me. Surgery went very well and my recovery was even better. I've had a few episodes of vomiting from dense proteins, but my pouch usually handles most things I eat.
I haven't had any problems getting my protein or vitamins in. My first labs came out pretty good. I made a few tweaks to my vitamins, but overall, no issues.
I'm exercising 3-4 days a week.
I didn't have any problem getting my water in for the first month. I've been struggling lately with my water. I get so busy during the day that I forget to drink. I'm making an effort to re-focus and get those fluids. They are so very important.
I'm on the LW board every day. I don't respond to all the posts I'd like, but I'm so appreciative of this forum and try to chime in when I can. I'm usually sneaking peaks while I'm at work. Shhh! Don't tell my boss. You guys are great! THANK YOU for all the great support!
