I'm not ready to move yet (it's so early, but I'm all stressed about work and can't sleep, sooooo, of course I came over to OH...) so I'll share the plan for the sake of the roll call:

Morning batch + weekly D3 script
Calcium batch afternoon
Corvite (Fe) before bed

You have a great Monday, too!

Please tell me that D3 script is dry D3 and not oil-based. What exactly is Corvite iron? Is sounds like it might be carbonyl like Vitalaldy carries. How much do you take?

Good questions.

Yup, it's dry.

I was just trying to figure out the corvite dosage the other day - not sure. I mean it's not clear on the packaging - it's another question on my list for my NUT visit. It's another script - I have a really tough time with Iron, and this one is the first one my body has tolerated well after trying everything under the sun. I can really tell a difference between taking it and not (if I forget, which happens sometimes before bed.)

I just did a little reading and I think it is carbonyl iron and it comes in 150mg doses. If you still have trouble with iron, you might want to try an additional Proferrin ES at some point during the day or night. It doesn't need stomach acid or vitamin C at the same time. You just snap the tablet into 2 pieces and take it. No constipation with Proferrin either. You can also get a script for it. It's called Proferrin Forte--same as Proferrin ES except it also contains folic acid. The iron you're taking also has all kinds of vitamins in it that supposedly complement carbonyl iron. Keep us posted on your labs for iron, ferritin, hematocrit and hemoglobin.

Good morning Gina and Lightweights! I have been totally M.I.A. I am so glad to be back on my regular routine today! A week off, 3 Thanksgivings, 2 day long shopping spree, not enough sleep, out to eats, not enough working out, etc., etc.  The scale is up, and I feel crappy. I've got class this morning, then I'm back to catch up on the LWs!

I did fine my first two Thanksgiving dinners, I went nuts at the last one. But my 30th birthday is this coming Saturday (the 4th) and I would really like to be back down to 99 by then (and stay there).

I'm still working on my decaf protein latte, you girls are way ahead of me.
I do my morning vits with my morning meds so those get done.  Iron in the multi so I wait for a couple of hours to start on Cal-mag-D3.  Do that every 2-3 hours.  Do B-12 after a meal so I'm not drining for a while.  Evening vits with evening meds so those get done.

Hi Gina!

Getting back on track this morning.  I didn't get on the scale - scared too!  Way too much eating lately.  Had the BF's family Thanksgiving last night.  He commented that I didn't eat very much - which I didn't, but had pistachios, wheat thins and cheese a few hours before for snack, and it stayed with me.  Surprised I filled up on that little bit.. Went out for breakfast though and felt I ate quite a bit then.  Not complaining - but he went through SO much work to make this fabulous dinner - he's a awesome cook!  He needs to lose a few lbs and wants me to help - I can give advice but he has to follow it... How did you get your DH to follow the plan?

Vits are done.  Got my K's from Vitalady and have included them in my daily morning vit routine.  Will take my calcium throughout the day.  I'm still VERY bad about taking my Iron - really no excuse why.

My fluids have been SO low.  My lips feel like they're so dry they want to fall off (not chapped/cracked)- and I'm wondering if it has to do with my very low intake of fluids (other than coffee and adult beverages).  I tried getting water in yesterday.  Back in the routine now and brought a HUGE bottle of water which I'll mix some crystal lite in soon.
