Um, I heart them!!!! You all know my little alien situation in the bubble gut...well, I thought let me get regular gasx stuff and try that...nope, no workie...then I remembered papaya enzymes...(ya I'm late on it...what can I say)

I bought some at whole foods but I'm sure they are everywhere. OMG I love them!!! I have very little to no gas, pain is minimal now in that pseudo hernia area and no alien movements like before. I swear it also keeps a bit regularity going too...not sure on that cuz I added other things to my routine.

morning - fiber powder in protein coffee (5g fiber)
morning snack - fiber one bran cereal (14g fiber)
fiber chewables - 4 throughout the day (8g fiber - 2g each)
papaya enzymes - taken after lunch meal and a few more throughout as needed (first sign of bubble gut)
probiotics - 2 chewables in the morning and 2 in the evening.
hot lemon water sweetened to end the day.
Colace - 2 pills daily. if needed will add more but so far so good

All above = happy and moving gut! Sounds like a lot but not really.

Okee...just thought I would share that papaya enzymes ROCK!!!

That's awesome!! I'm at Wally World now. I'll get some more...

Also I thought it was just me but I have not had that pain or alien episodes in a while. Like a few weeks now. Not gonna lie and say ALL gas is gone but the majority is and it works better than gas x stuff.

No kidding?  I just used them when something felt "stuck" - I've had some pretty bad gas lately too... hmmm... maybe I need to pull them out...

Thanks for the tip!

Diana, I have a bottle in my cabinet and I use them when I get food stuck.  I had no idea they would help with other issues.
Thanks,  I'll have to try them when my tummy feels bad.

Diana,

I like the new avatar!

You convinced me.  I swung by GNC today and bought some papaya enzymes.  I don't get gas but I could use some regularity help.  I figure it can't hurt.  I'm also trying to add magnesium as I read that others on OH use it for regularity and foot cramps, which I've been having lately.

Leelee ~ thanks. You are so right, it can't hurt...I take calcium citrate that has magnesium with it because I did find out the very hard way that calcium without magnesium = constipation very bad. I have not had any issues with foot cramps but those sound like it sucks.

I hope you let us know if the papaya enzymes help :)

I've read a lot of good things about them. I may give it a try for regularity. That has been my issue lately.
