One Week Update
Hello fellow LW's,
Wanted to update everyone on my progress. Procedure went very well, no complaints there. The nausea afterwards was AWFUL. I was dry heaving any time I moved until the second round of nurses came in and my new nurse gave me something. If I wouldn't have been so out of it I would have demanded something, and poor hubby didn't know any better. Once that was under control it was pretty smooth, uneventful sailing. I have been off of pain meds since the second day. Sleeping is still kind of rough since I am a stomach sleeper. PPI's are a life saver, they made me so much more comfortable. On day five the drain was removed @ the Dr's office and.....drumroll please......weight on first visit 232, weight after 5 day liquid diet 228, appointment weight 216!!!
I am getting all my fluids in daily and I am currently working on upping my protein. Thanks for reading!

Sorry you had to go through the nausa but pretty soon it will be a distant memory. You should feel better each and every day and sleeping will get better too. It was maybe a week before I spent a whole night in my own bed, sleeping a lot in the recliner. It only gets better from here, hang on.

Congrats! I think you and I are on the same basic plan. I had my surgery last Friday - so I'm a week and two days. Weighed yesterday at 216lbs. Started at about 236 or so, didn't weigh on surgery date though - but I think it was around 230 or a bit less.
I'm struggling with the fluids - but it sounds like you've got it licked.
Way to go!
