Which Dress????

Thanks so much.  I might wait until I can take my DD of DIL with me and let them see different ones on me and help me decide!!  I have such a hard time making a decision.

Linda, why not head out to the mall tomorrow and try on buckets of clothes.  Take pictures in the dressing room, then you can get tons of wonderful ideas about pairing things up.

I think i'd love to see you in separates.  A fitted top and a skirt with a little swing and sass to it. Big belts are really in this year and you have the waist to show it off.

I think that after  years of being fat, we really don't know how to dress ourselves to show off our best assests.  We're just not used to having assets when it comes to clothing.  I have a good friend who manages a clothing shop and I take her with me.  She gives me great advice and never hesitates to tell me to take something off.  I remember the day she told me that grown women should never wear tshirts with a floral or other pattern on them.  DUH?  Who knew?  When I started really looking at myself in those prints, I got what she was saying.

I know I don't have a clue how to dress myself!!  I do have a friend who is really good and has helped me in the past with dresses when my son was getting married.  I probably need to take her with me.  She would have no problem telling me to take something off.  My daughter tends to dress older like I always have.

For real - no floral t-shirts???  I have one I love and wear it.

I would love to go to the mall tomorrow, but I have to stay home with DH.  He had elbow surgery Wednesday and is having some swelling in his hand so he is having to stay in and keep it elevated and I'm trying to stay close to home in case he needs something.
