Happy Thanksgiving!!!   I already have my bird stuffed and DH took it to my DD#1's to put in the oven.   I think I will lay back down for an hour and then head over to her house to get everything else ready.  I sure hope I can talk someone into peeling the potatoes.  My DD#2's ex used to peel them....this is the ONLY day of the year I miss him.....LOL.  My DGD told me that every year her Dad says he misses my turkey and stuffing....i'm Betting this is the only day he misses me too....LOL!!!!

ENJOY THE HOLIDAY!!!!!

Hi Catherine,
I've been out shopping today and just got on line.

Here is how I make mine.  Different people here make them a lot of different ways.
Protein Decaf Coffee - I use a large mug of a soup mug
2 cups of water - heat in microwave 2 minutes 30 seconds
while water is heating
Mix 1/2 cup hood calorie countdown milk(or whatever you use for milk) and 1 scoop Nectar Syntrax Cappuccino Latte protein powder - mix this together really good
In the water put 2-3 tsp of decaf coffee & 1-2 tsp splenda (you could just use 2 cups of coffee make in a coffee maker)
Pour protein mix into coffe mixture - enjoy.
Don't pour the protein powder into the hot liquid directly without mixing with something or it will lump up and not be very good.

Lemon Tea Protein - I make this in the large blender bottle with the steel ball in it.
16 or 20 ozs water
1 stick crystal lite lemon tea
1 scoop Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea Protein Drink
Mix all together and shake good - let it sit for the foam to die down some.  Add ice and gentle mix.

Hope you enjoy these.  I couldn't make it without my protein drinks.

Won't try to add the calories and everything for today.  Too many bites of things I have no way to count.  I ended  up going with a friend to her families big dinner.  I did protein first with ham, turkey and a bite of roast, then added a spoonful of green beans, potatoes, some kind of pineapple something and 1 bite of the filling of a german chocolate pie and of a cherry cobbler.
All in all, my plate was no where near full and I was not stuffed or even feeling full.  I felt very successful.

Meals
egg, cheese
chicken
thanksgiving dinner
chicken, green beans
decaf latte

Happy Thanksgiving.  I'm not adding up totals today either because it was just too many bites.  But I want to write to be accountable.

B.  8am  - 2 oz pot roast from last night
L.  noon - 1 oz cheese and very small piece of sourdough bread samples at Whole Foods
D.  4pm - Bite of turkey, mashed, stuffing, gravy, 1 radish, cranberry sauce, kale, sweet potato, pumpkin pie, flourless chocolate cake (that was 3 bites)  I was full but not stuffed like the turkey
S.  1 fuyu persimmon

Fluids - good
Vitamins - still need my multi before bed
exercise - 3.25 mile walk around the lake this morning

Not the best day because I know I'm very short on protein, but not the worst for my first holiday meal.  I felt pretty good about my plate and am looking forward to being right on plan tomorrow.

Thanks for letting me be accountable!  :)
