Too salty...
Are you cooking or using packaged meat? I know right after surgery, everything had too much flavor, salty, sweet, no matter what. Now I know I use much less salt that before and I don't salt anything while cooking so I can add just the amount I want. I don't track my salt intake.

I buy the chicken breast strips, but the last couple of batches seem really salty. The turkey I had today seemed salty too...I guess I will have to cook all of my own meat..I hope it isn't me..lol.
I have also noticed that I love to watch the Food Network all the time..it's weird like jus****ching it satisfies me... . I don't "crave" anything just like watching it...are you like that since surgery?

Yes, you will find lots of lookers on this board. Not so much anymore but when I was recovering, that was about all I watched.
I cook my chicken in soup so it is moist but then it really is salty. Maybe a low sodium soup would work better but I do like it cooked in golden mushroom.
