I have gone crazy buying smaller sizes!!

I am having so much fun buying smaller sizes at my favorite thrift store!! I lucked up and found one that recieves truckloads of clothes from consignment shops...lots of name brand and boutique stuff....it's a goldmine!!

I think I may have gone overboard though :) I know I won't be in each size very long but I paid so little that I will enjoy re-donating them to my support group.

I know alot of you enjoy the thrift stores. People who aren't into it just can't understand the thrill we get from our "finds". I swear, it is a addiction!! A good one!!

I can't believe I will really be fitting into these clothes very soon. I hold them up in front of me at the mirror and just dream of what it will be like.

I am so blessed to be having this surgery...I read that only 2% of people who would qualify based on BMI will actually end up having surgery. I hope that it becomes even more accepted and that physicians learn more about it and recommend it for their patients. My Dr. would have never have mentioned it...he would have kept writing prescription after prescription :(

It is fun to get fancy named stuff for a fraction of the price.  My wardrobe is much more designer label that it has been in many years.
Good luck on your surgery next week.

Hello Shar...I SO understand what your saying. 8 years ago I lost 80 pounds a Weigh****chers and kept it off for 5 years. I was a size 8. I had the nicest clothes that I wore to work everyday. A lot of suits and nice blouses. Anyway, 3 years ago I gained it all back + 10 and all that went into storage. I never did anything with it because I knew one day I would be able to get it all back out and that day is soon coming. I can't wait! I haven't even look through them but I will get them down after surgery. I know how happy you are because I'm right there with you. I love this board because everyone understands how we feel and that gives me so much support...Keep me updated

At lease your doing it at the thrift stores which is great :)
I pass on all of my too big clothing to friends and/or the thrift stores, for recyling too :)
I try to make myself buy more there, instead of buying new stuff - but my bad :(

I LOVE thrift stores!  My closets are jammed packed too because of my shopping addiction there!  But, like you said - its a good one!
