Great post Gina!   Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.  Cindy

Im thankful for:

My hubby  (Even though he drives me crazy at times  lol).  He wasnt 100% on board with my WLS in the beginning, but has since come around and been my #1 supporter/cheerleader.

My kids  (again, they can drive me crazy at times lol).   My daughter is blossoming into an amazing adult.  I am sooo proud of her.  And my son.......We came soooo close to loosing our son this summer after a serious car accident.  While he's still not at 100%, he has come a longggg way.

The life flight team & trauma surgeons who saved my sons life.

My sisters.  Over the last few yrs, we have lost both parents and a brother to cancer.  My oldest sister just completed a round of chemo for stage 3 colon cancer.  Us girls have grown extremely close thruout all of this.

My sisters surgeon & oncology staff.

My PCP & surgeon.  These guys gave me back my health.

My friends here on OH.  I had a longggggg road getting approved for my surgery. You guys have been a rock to me.  You keep me accountable. You make me smile.

All of my friends with a warped sense of humor.

Protein drinks,  Greek yogurt, Splenda, Rockin' roll protein bars, grilled chicken, & turkey burgers

Miralax, benefiber, and stool softeners

The crazy ladies in my Zumba class.  These ladies accepted me with open arms and dont laugh at me even though I have no coordination and tend to make a fool of myself.

A roof over my head.  plenty of food.  Ho****er.  A working furnace.

Next...............

I had a huge list and just deleted it...

I am thankful for so many things but the top 1 is:

I am so thankful that I have had the opportunity to see both of my children at the worst and to see them every day so much more successful I know that all that hard work paid off.  When we felt like we had nothing more to give and couldn't keep going one more minute, we pushed through and did more.  And I have ZERO regret.

My mother said to me the other day how I had not taken care of myself (they are now 7 and 4) since they were born.  And, I didn't.  BUT, I wouldn't change it.  I look at them now and will NEVER look back and say I shouldn't have done all that I have done.  Yes, it is harder for me now having to have surgery and having let myself go, and I do realize balance is important, but when I see their successes every day, I regret NOTHING :)

OK so 2 things, the one above and 2nd, Zero regret!

....for OH.

....for Facebook.

....for having had the money to have this wonderful surgery and the fact that I have done so well with it.

....for the fact that our business has been able to survive in the down economy even though the last 3 years have been miserably hard.

....for cheeseburgers, cajun food and mexican food, my favs!

....for college football and basketball, especially the Texas A & M Aggies...Gig 'Em!!

...for bubblebaths!
