Lab Results -- Told they were fine, looking for a double check

I met with the Nurse Practitioner at my surgeon's office today to review my labs.  She said the word "beautiful" several time.  "Your labs are beautiful."  I left with a prescription because my Uric Acid is high.

I love my surgeon, but I haven't had the best experience with the NP. I would appreciate it if I could get a double check on her "beautiful".

Not too bad.

Suggestions if you aren't already doing these:
Increase your protein shakes. You want your protein to come in at 7.0 and your album in the 4's.
Increase your dry vitamin D3. You want that to be at 100. If you bring the D up your PTH and calcium will stay in good spots. You want calcium around 9.2, PTH in the low 30s and D up around 100.
To keep your iron and ferritin going in the right direct, try adding 1 Proferrin ES (OTC) or see if you can get a prescription for Proferrin Forte.
Keep doing what you're doing to keep B12 up. You want it at or above 1000.

I don't see vitamin A. You might want to ask to have it added to your labs.
Your AST and ALT look great.

I don't know what the range is for B1. You're aiming for top of the range.

Thank you Gina!  I just felt like the NP looked at the ranges on the report.  As long I wasn't outside of the range, it was "beautiful."  In my head, I was thinking those ranges are for people who haven't had WLS.

I have recently (since the labs) added a second protein shake to my diet.  It was in response to feeling run down.  Sounds like a 3rd wouldn't hurt. I know I really not eating enough these days.  (Nothing tastes good and the dense proteins don't set well in my pouch).

I haven't been supplementing my D3.  I can easily add it.

I live in fear of adding iron to my supplements.  It is so hard on my system and I don't menstruate.  I'll add it too!  I did this to be healthy and that means taking the supplements I need.

The range for B1 is 87-280.  There is room for improvement here too.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with me.

Be sure you get DRY D3.  You can order that from Vitalady, but I haven't seen it in the stores.  The D that is in the stores is D2 and our systems can't convert that anymore...
