Look for this Elf tomorrow in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade!

For any of you watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow, my youngest (14 yrs old) is going to be performing in it! He will be one of the Elves in "The Elves Raise the Roof".  Then he will be performing on the Macy's Star on tv at about 11:43am Eastern Time! 

I am thankful for so much on this Thanksgiving --  I'm thankful to have all of you supportive, generous, kind, altruistic, steadfast LW friends.

That is so cool Kathy!  Is he there because of a school function?

He goes to a theater arts camp for 3 weeks every summer in upstate New York, called Stagedoor Manor. He loves musical theater in particular. Macy's asked Stagedoor to provide the talent for this float, and Jonah was one of the lucky ones chosen. It's been an intense couple of rehearsal days, because he has never had any formal dance training, but he finally got all the moves down and he's ready to go! Just dropped him off at Columbus and 81st at 6:30am!  

That's great!  I just took my oldest to an informational session @ Perpich Arts High School the day of the snow storm......lol   She too is 14 and want's to go there her junior and senior year.  You should look into it for your son.....they have a theater arts & dance program!  She is looking at the Visual Arts program.  

What a handsome guy! I'll try to catch the parade today.

How FUN!!!    As a teenager, (a thousand years ago) my dance line went to New York to march/perform in the Macy's parade.....It was amazing!   I hope he has the time of his life!
