Happy Thanksgiving!!
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and tell you all how thankful I am to have you in my life. The LW board and all those from us old timers to the newbies are such a gift. This board is the foundation to which I am grounded and know that I can always find support. We have all grown and learned together and shared in that wisdom through trial and error. I believe we are better for having one another in our lives. I appreciate you all.
My life is crazy right now, but not in a bad way. My sister is recovering from her LBL and progressing. I have been trying to help out with her care. The dr thinks she probably has some infection but is treating it pretty aggressively and is not overly concerned. This along with everything else has not allowed me enough time with my LW family. But this too shall pass...
I'm not where I want to be with the "Holiday Challenge" but I'm closer than I was. My DH is plugging along with his efforts and is smaller than he has been in years. He is going to be 68 his next birthday in January and we all know how much harder it gets the older we get. I am so proud of him and he is too. It just makes my heart smile.
I have shared with you all about my slight regain and my struggles. At the suggestion of a dear LW friend I intend to lay it all on the line and let everyone know where this train derailed. Nothing drastic happened, no broken tool here, just got a little lazy while I was still in the active weight loss phase and it finally caught up with me. That's the simple explanation, but there's a lot more detail that I would like to share in the hopes that someone else can learn from my mistakes. So look for this in the next few weeks or at least before the end of the year. Perhaps it will encourage some in the new year.
Thank you all again for being you and fighting the good fight with me and all the other LW's, because we are all worth it.

Happy Thanksgiving Julie to you and your family. You were on here when I started my journey. I have always appreciated your posts and encouragement.
Hope your sister's infection clears up quickly.
I can't wait to read your post about your derailment. I find myself doing little things that I shouldn't and realize that is what happens in the beginning of the slide the wrong way.
Good luck to you.
Linda
