APPROVED!!!!!

I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!! I was approved for the sleeve in less than ONE day!!!!!!!!
It was up to their discretion about whether I would have the DS or the sleeve. The more I thought about it, the more I feel like I am better suited for the sleeve. The cost of all the vitamins and more expensive foods would be a definate hardship with the DS. I'm sure I would have lost more and had an easier time staying at goal with the DS, but I prayed that the Lord would direct my path in this and I am happy with the decision that was made. My insurance changes on 1/1/10 and I was not going to be able to afford surgery after that time b/c they (BCBS) will only cover the DS and I would be responsible for 20 percent of the bill. WHOA.....
So I am so thankful for a December 29th surgery date and everything will be covered one hundred percent!! WOO HOO!

This time next year...........

Lapband 4/08 removed 3/10.....Sleeve scheduled for 12/28/2010!!!!!!

Yeah!!! I'm glad for you. I was so excited to get my approval too and my surgery is December 8. We'll both be on the loser's bench soon!

Woo hoo! THank you and congrats to you too!!! In 6 monthths we are going to be new women! LOL Dec 8 is my daughter's bday :)
