LW?? WHaaaaaaaa?! :D
LOL!
WOW!
You ladies are fantastic!!
Yes, a MGB is a mini-gastric bypass. It's not so much mini- it is similar to the RNY
with a slightly different bypassing method and the stomach is more of a longer tube
than a pouch so it's a wee bit farther away from the esophagus. It's not better or worse, just different :) And happens to just kind of "fit" with me :)
I am SOO excited. My sister had the RNY 3 years ago and she is coming down to Vegas with me to take care of me because she is stupendous :)
I'm still jumping through the hoops of my "packet" (family support letters, doctor support letters, psych eval, etc etc etc) and it seems to be happening SO fast!!
I am so excited to have found this forum :)
Thank you for all the welcomes! It definitely gave me warm fuzzies on this blistery
-27oC day! Yesterday it was... -22oF I do believe in most of your ladies temp's!
Hope you guys are having better weather :)

Hey Michelle...WELCOME! Glad you joined us. Man...it's COLD thereCome on down to Texas where I live...you can warm up. Today, it was 85.LOL I still don't know why in the world God gave me life in Texas. I think in another life I lived where it was cold because I LOVE cold weather! 20 degrees is PERFECT for me, although we only get it probably 1 day a year if that!
OH My Lanta! I'll play trades-sies with you any day!
Where I live was the 2nd coldest place in the world on Monday or Tuesday.
Woooowwww!
Second only to the south pole.
Who said Canucks aren't tough? Hehe!
I am DEFINITELY not meant for cold weather - happiest weeks of my life
have been spent on a beach in Mexico! :D
And hopefully in a year I'll be in the same place rockin' a
cutesy swim suit and lookin' smokin'!! :D
