OK everyone, here is a ?? for you all here in LW land...Where do you all get your vitamins from and do they come on a regular schedule or do you order them monthly? Every 3 months?? My surgery is Dec. 21st and I am getting my first set through my DR. but then I wanted to try and have them sent from a service without me having to order each time. Where they can just deduct out of checking account and send them??

I've used Vitalady's plan since 9 months post-op and I have near perfect labs. I think she's working on a delivery option like you're describing but it may take awhile to get it up and running. She's one of us (had WLS i*****) and comes and posts on the LW board from time to time when life isn't getting in the way. Anyway, she's a small business and I certainly like to support her by giving her my business. She's has learned what works and what doesn't the hard way...she won't lead you wrong. I bought 3 months worth at my pre-op appt, and plan on buying another 3 months worth from my doc at my next appt in a couple of weeks.  Since I have to do follow up every 3 I just figured I would do it this way, but this is a good question. I am curious what others do...

I buy them as I need them - unfortunately they don't all run out at the same time, and I think if I did an automatic reorder deal, I'd have way too much of some of them on-hand.

I get mine from both BariatricAdvantage and Celebrate.  I only order as I need it.  My surgeon pushes for us to use BariatricAdvantage.  I also I like Celebrate because the lady who created it is a RNY post-op.

Other than my iron and vit D my labs are great.  In fact my B12 was very high on my labs last week and she told me to cut back just a little.  I had been taking 2500mcg's a day.  I had just got in the routine of it because I was pregnant.  I was on liquid iron during my pregnancy (per my OB) and once it ran out I was just lazy and didn't order any regular (bariatric) iron.  We'll now I'm paying for it because my iron is in the ****er.  I ordered some last night from Celebrate! I hope to get back on track with my iron level.  My vit D was low as well.  That was no shock as it kinda goes in hand with the iron.  So she wants me to take 5000 IU of dry vit D3 daily.

Word of the wise.......stay on track with your vits!

I get most of mine at the supermarket. I pick up what I need when I'm there grocery shopping. But I do get my iron and Vitamin D3 from VitaLady.
