I'm happy that you met online. I have an ad up on Plenty of Fish and now that I've taken down my fatter pictures and put up some current ones, I'm getting some great responses. Now I just have to write back and be willing to meet for coffee etc.

He had gotten quite disillusioned with the whole dating scene - seems people were misrepresenting themselves online, etc. When I stepped out of my car he goes "WOW - your picture doesn't do you justice!" Its the same picture I have on my profile here (except I cropped out the baby).... And yes, he treats me wonderfully....
There is still hope and there are still some good guys out there!

I've been married to a hunter for 36 years and I can tell you that Getting the phone call about the deer before his kids is a BIG deal!!!! As soon as they get something they are so excited they want to share it with someone that is REALLY Important to them!!

He really sounds like a keeper. I'm glad he treats you good and has the same views that you do. I met DH in January and we were married in April and that was 32 years ago so it is possible!!

It doesn't help we live 45 minutes from each other and with our jobs, it would be difficult for me to move there, or him to move here.... he also owns a house... so there's that issue too.... Actually - its the ONLY issue we have to work through.

DH and I met on line, met for coffee, decided to go to dinner and about 12 hr later I went home. We married 3 wks later!!! Not that I advocate quit marriages. We are going on three years, it has been a wonderful marriage. Good luck and enjoy the honeymoon phase!!!
