She finished just a little slower than she wanted to but did great. The wind during the bike portion was brutal and it really took a lot to push thru according to her fb post. She is amazing. I wonder if any other wls person has completed an Ironman? Marie is an Ironman!

That's awesome!  I'm so proud of anyone who can do an Ironman - that's an inspiration!

Listen, for some reason, I can't read any of her posts.  Perhaps she (accidentally?) blocked me?  Would someone please intervene on my behalf?  Let her know I'm a decent person?  I can't even send her a message to see what's going on.

Anyway, best wishes to MacMadame for a good recovery from this grueling (and amazing!) event!

She is definitely an inspiration. I would love to become fit enough to do something like that!
