I am currently waiting on insurance approval. I had Lapband in Dec 07 and me and the band did not see eye to eye. I have meet with the surgeon and submitted all the necessary paperwork and hopefully tomorrow, they should have gotten a PR (prior authorization) from the insurance.
My BMI is 40, I am 5"2 and Icurrently weight 220 lbs and hoping to get down to 130-140 lbs.

Welcome aboard Sabree! I have many friends who've had the lap-band who are not enjoying the success they dreamed of. It's sad because it's so much work just to get through it once.....You are brave for going through the hoopla again! What is your surgery of choice this second time around?
