Could you hear me screaming?
Some of you may remember, because I wouldn't quit blabbing about it, that I bought my first pair of Lee's Size 12 relaxed fit jeans exactly two weeks ago.
Well, they fit ok in the waist and butt, but the legs are already getting baggy, so I decided to stop back into Ross this morning to see if I could find a 10 to grow down to. No luck so just for fun I decided to look for a pair of Lee's in an 8 so that I could see how many months until I could fit into a pair.
Zipped, buttoned, could touch my toes, tie my sneakers and sit down. I was screaming with joy. I just couldn't even believe it. Now you gotta understand that these are relaxed fit black jeans with some stretch to them, but there's nothing relaxed about it. I'm sitting here wearing them to see how they feel and they are hugging every curve on my body, so no relaxed fit, at least for awhile.
I won't be wearing them out of the house for awhile, but I am SO AMAZED. I haven't been an 8 since elementary school. Probably in 45+ years. I was in 14's by the time I was in junior high and 176 when I graduated high school.
Vanity sizing? I don't care, the tag says 8 and that's good enough for me.

We're both 5'4. I have that overflowing hourglass figure. These days 37-31-40. I'm really a 12 in most things. Not sure why these Lee jeans fit so well, but I'm going to keep buying this brand cause it has my name all over it. :)
Don't short change yourself. Take all different sizes in all different styles into that dressing room. I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised!
