Still Alive and Doing Well!!!

Hey People I am still alive and doing really well.  I made two years out in September and been doing really well.  Had to go back to basics because I picked up to much weight.  My lowest was at 122 and that was way to low for me and then got up to 150 lbs.  Omg I had to do something.  So back to eating salads and cutting out the carbs.  This was two months ago.  So this morning I jumped on the scale and back to 132 lbs.  Just where I like it!!!!

Losing the weight was the easy part.  Trying to keep it off is the part that needs lots of work.  Just want to send a shout out to Gina and Roz!!! Nice to see you guys still posting for the newbies...That is so great.

Btw I could handle my liquor before like 1 year ago but now I can't.  So beware of your alcohol consumtion if you do go back to drinking because one to many drinks will make you pass out.  So be very very careful.

Aloha People,

Asia

Oh Asia...I'm so excited to see you!!!!!      How's the family and are you still with the new guy?

I'm so glad you got back to the weight you felt good at.  I was worried about you after your last post.  I'm sure you put on the extra weight because of all of the changes in your life.

Maintaining is harder but not impossible.  I think we all get a little too overconfident and then have to go back to basics.   I think those of  us who learned the basics on the LW board  have the advantage over those trying to do it on their own.  I can see my "outside" friends weight creeping back on them.

I miss you posting....stop in every once in awhile and update us on your life.

Roz he was really good to me but I broke up with him last month.  Its so hard with all his health issues and he didn't want to change anything so you know how hard it is to change when you don't want too.  So for my own self I let him go....I am loving life right now being single!! Havent' been single in like 17 years so it is the best feeling ever.  Just hanging with the kids, go on a few dates with no commitment.  I love it!!!!!!  I think i had co-dependence with having someone special in my life but right now all i need is my kids!!! Love them.

I understand about the co-dependence.  My DD separated from her DH and she started dating right away because she wasn't used to being alone or having someone take care of her (even though he did a lousy job).

You are young and beautiful.....just enjoy yourself and your kids for awhile.
