Weekly Thursday Fashion Post
Well, I just had the forum eat one of my posts......anyway, I found a pair of boots I like but have not bought them yet. I have "duck feet" with bunions and I am so hard to fit. I did try these on but parting with the money is hard..... they are Clark's and you can't find those for a really good price anywhere.... the curse of bunions that I refuse to get removed (they can take my stomach and I can still walk just fine but when it comes to my feet... well... that's another story).
Will try to post a picture of the boots.... I'm really wavering toward getting them....

Since I have been losing weight, I have been going "shopping" in my closet and have found some very nice things that I forgot that I had. I have only bought two long sleeve T-shirts that I bought on sale at Penney's for $7.99 each, which I thought was reasonable.
This week, a friend at work, gave me two pairs of jeans that FIT!!! Yeah!! One is a size 8 and another is a size 10. The cut really decides on what size one can fit into.

That's the BEST kind of shopping! When I was ready to let go of my old clothes I had a girlfriend go shopping in my closet! She made out like a bandit!!

My goal weight was 125 and now I bounce between 111-113. I wear a size 2 in everything. I had dropped originally to 106 but that didn't stick long. I feel great where I am right now.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

I'm wearing my new boots today with a long skirt and sweater. Maybe I can get DH to take pictures tonight when I get home from the meeting.
I still can't wear heels.
Everyone said they look good and would look good with a shorter skirt also. This clothing thing is so not my thing and I'm having a hard time with what looks good and what doesn't.
I tried on a shorter dress with the boots yesterday and wish I had taken a picture with my camera phone for all of you to look at and tell me your advise, but I didn't even think of that.
Can you tell I'm excited about my boots? I haven't worn any since I was a teenager or early 20's.

Very cute Linda! I too have problems knowing what does and doesn't look good. I'm trying to figure out if I want to wear my knee high boots to the casino/comedy show tonight with leggins and a long shirt.... or just jeans... decisions...decisions!!
I bet both looked great on you! I've done that before where I've taken a pic in the dressing room and sent to someone to get their opinion - lol... isn't technology great?
I'll try to take a pic in the mirror tonight.
