Weekly Thursday Fashion Post
I was looking for a cream colored Pea Coat. Tried the thrift and consignment shops (missed a few) and found one at Goodwill, size 8 that was $12.99 but was too big. So I passed it up.
Went to Penneys and they had 1, size small... fits perfect, even with a sweater under. Regularly $200, on sale for $79.99. I had 2 - $10 coupons - got it for $60 plus taxes. I think I did well with it. Its exactly what I was looking for.
AND - while I was there, I splurged and bought a pair of Ana Size 4 skinny stretch jeans... wore them on my date last night and they went over very well...
I DO love the Ana clothes - they fit very nicely, I think. I'm going to keep looking at the consignment/thrift stores because I would like a gray one too. Not a high priority - but I like to keep my options open regarding coats! (2 closets getting full...)

I don't ever remember seeing the brand Ana at our Penny's. I'm going to have to check those out.
I bought some Halogen dress pants at Nordstrom's a few weeks ago that fit great but I'm not crazy about the colors. The Black looks a little dark gray and the Brown seems to have a touch of green in it and doesn't match anything I have. The colors looked good in the store so I took them and had them hemmed and now I don't even want to wear them. These weren't a good deal!!!!

I've got some pants in my closet too that are an odd green color - unless I have a white shirt - nothing will go!
I do like dark gray - I have a few pairs of them. Black shirts/sweaters go well with them. The brown/green would be tough.... white or cream color shirt...?
Going out tonight again - trying to decide what to wear! Its going VERY well with my new beau...

I realized yesterday I don't have a BROWN sweater. I have some winter white pants I wore today and wore a winter white sweater... but I don't like to wear same color pants/shirts most of the time. I guess I need to fix that - lol...
