Home from the hospital

I came home from the hospital today after having surgery Monday. I am doing well so far. The only real problem I have had was finding out the hard way that I am allergic to morphine!

I found out the hard way I am allergic to Lortab.

Yikes!

Fortunately for me, Lortab/Vicodin seems to be the only thing I am not allergic to. I had a reaction to Percocet after my gallbladder surgery last month.

Coming through the surgery safety is 51% of the journey! Congratulations!
Take it easy and remember...YOU WILL FEEL NORMAL AGAIN!!!

PS.....I remember finding out I was allergic to CODIENE when I had my gall bladder out years ago....NOT FUN!!!

OH! I just realized you were from Augusta! We're practically neighbors! My brother and sister are both surgeons and went to MCG in Augusta so I've been there quite a bit! LOVE it!!!
