***Urge to Volume Eat Sometimes****
Am I the only one that really has an urge to "volume" eat....I have did this on puddin's and chili several times the past few days......
Of course, I can only eat a 1/2 to 1 cup at a time..but 30 min later can do it all over again....
I do not plan to continue this on reg basis my any means....
Just wondering, if any one else ever did this.

Are you on any PPI's for your tummy? (like prevacid, protonix, etc?)
I had stopped taking mine and would get these urges to "eat"... then an hour later I was "hungry" again - and then realized it was irritation - started taking my Prevacid again and it went away...
Pouch vs Sleeve are a little different since I don't have a Pyloric Valve anymore and slider foods just slide out... but you have your pyloric valve... but then we all do get the "head hunger" fits once in awhile....
Perhaps a Sleever will join in and help out!!

Jody & Roz.....yes, I take Prilosec everyday....it's just old habits trying to return and the puddin and chili are sliders......well learnt lesson for me on how to eat around the sleeve......but, I've already put this behavior behind me and will move forward.....I will not fail at this!!!!

I went through a phase like this too. I don't know if it was real hunger or addiction to food, but I'm over it now. I learned quickly what I could eat a lot of (popcorn, chips, etc). Now I just stay away from those foods completely. Also, I work out really hard and have to eat a lot to not drop any more weight, but I eat all healthy food, which is low calorie. If you want to eat a lot, eat raw vegetables or something. A whole cup of zucchini or carrots, etc has next to no calories. Also cucumber, cauliflower, celery, the list goes on. Plus they have tons of fiber, lots of water and vitamins in them. It makes my head think I am eating a ton, but in reality, it's not much of anything. Sorry kind of rambly and dis-jointed, I have three kids bugging me lol.
