So very frustrated right now just got back from my PCP

I tried to post earlier but OH just wouldn't let me.  I'm sorry you are having trouble getting information.  I would think your Surgeon or PCP office would be able to get that info. The Girl at my Surgeons office was very knowledgeable about what was necessary for me to do.

I don't know much about Insurances either but I am glad I had the required 6 months to get ready.  I learned a lot on this board and I stopped drinking Diet Pepsi.  I'm sure there were other things too but I just can't remember right now.  My PCP had to put me on a 1200 calorie diet and I had to go every single month to get weighed.  I wasn't allowed to gain during that time.

The time will go fast!!

I agree with your doc... put the paperwork through as is and see what happens.

Oh and they can't go back and change the notes. The insurance won't accept that, unfortunately. Also, if your PCP doesn't know what to put in the notes, it's quite possible the insurance company will reject at least one of the visits and say you have to do the whole 6 months over so, if it turns out you do have to do the 6 months, it's very important to find out exactly what they want to have happen during these visits.
