??bounce back??
I am 5' 8" and 145 today...my doc wants me at 140...this is because when i initiallly came in he asked me what I wanted to weight ideally...i said 145...he said there is a bounce back and he wants me to get to 140....so I'm working on it...it's hard and it takes a lot of dilligence in the end but we all have to use this tool to it's best advantage while we can....during the first year when weight loss is
optimum...then we have to spend the rest of our lives adjusting and living within a range...it just depends what you will be happy with on the high end of your range...if i'm 145 tops I'm happy...if I stop now and I get to 150 tops I won't be happy...so that's all I can tell you....I would prefer to be on the lower end of my BMI....good luck...SEAVIEW

I agree and I think since I am under a year I can do it, I really want to get to the 140's. I am shooting for the middle because I think I will be too small at the lower end. My mom weighs 122 and is probably 1" shorter than me and she is too thin and her health has been affected by her low weight just as being heavy affects others.
good for you sandi...I was reallly mad at my doctor for telling me I should lose more weight at the last appointment....I felt thin and done....but I started doing what he said and I have to say I
am leaner and much better....but I had to wrap my head around getting leaner...even though I had been this thin before I had FORGOTTEN how it felt and felt done at a higher weight...I realized how much denial we have to be in to let ourselves get as heavy as we were and then how much of a head trip it is to get lean again...our brains take too long to catch up and our doctors are VERY objective....that's all....best of luck....see you at the finish line...SEAVIEW...oh and I have to say I think the bounce back tends to be water weight we get when we start to eat carbs again..bread and salt and stuff that puffs us up....when that happens I think a day or two of clean eating and we're back to normal....but it's range we can handle!
