tSecond tryout tonight for professional spot in rollerderby league . Yesterday i did 2 hour skate and backwards skate/pivot combination also pylometrics on the shore ( thats jumping drills ) with a bodybuilder friend ...

today , I slept , drank 2 glasses of red wine ( will drink espresso shots later ) and picked broccoli florets and ate fresh raspberries in the garden ...

a very Eyetalian holitsic approach to sports lol.....

sometimes I think the MOST important thing is to LOVE it to OWN it to ENJOY it thoroughly .........

i just need a box of bandaids( new skates ) and some love to suceed I feel ......

Gawd im SUCH a jock ...I sound like one of my insufferable third rate baseball player friends ...but its so true ....U ust have to ENJOY IT because U knwo what im geting PAID a laughable 50 bux a game (if i make it ) plus expenses which is a LOT better than the regular teammates who pay to play ......a LOT of money !

Im FORTUNATE ! S when U get on that staten Island yankees team bus Boy you better be grateful - for the twenty thousand dollar a year salary and ALL that . U are a PROFESSIONAL baseball player -and i MIGHT just be a professional Rollerderby GRRL ...how cool is tHAT ?! WOW !! ;)

How's our derby queen doing?? That workout sounds insanely FUN!!! I also giggled at your "recovery" process....sounds very holistic to me....lol

That's right!  NO EXCUSES!

I'm flying to Atlanta on Wednesday, back late Friday night.  I've been in a bit of denial about it and then realized that I have to PLAN MY EXERCISE accordingly, so now I'm not denying it anymore. ;)

It's not that I don't want to go, I'm actually happy to go.  It's just that I don't like leaving NYC unless it's for fun vacation.  Not for meetings.  I love my bed and my dog and my dance studios...

Anyway, I digress. 

Today I went to ballet since I can't go on Friday.  Tomorrow I will run with Shelby in the am.  Wednesday I will run with Shelby in the am before dropping her off in the country to stay with my cousins.  Thursday I will run in Atlanta.  Friday I will run in Atlanta.  This SHOULD make up for my not dancing for the rest of the week. I'm going to miss my Samba Wednesday, but hopefully I can go to the 2 hour Saturday night class. 

OK, there's my plan .  Now that I've written it down, I have to do it!!

 I love to travel under any and all cir****tances....business...vacay...weekend road trips. I am aching to do a long drive road trip. Where you ask??? Doesn't really matter to me as long as I go. 

Anywhooo....Shelby will miss her momma and morning runs. I'm sure she'll love the country get-away tho. 

Your plan sounds great and yes, now that you put it out there...we're gonna keep an eye on you...
