Scale creeping.......
I have been maintaining my weight for MANY months now. So imagine my anger when the scale moved up 5 lbs. I don't make a habit of weighing myself very often. It's probably been a month minimum since the last time I did. I've been eating things that are utterly BAD for me and I need to STOP! I've decided I need a cleansing week! One week of protein shakes ONLY! So for those of you on a liquid diet I'll be joining you! I will however be having my one cup of Caribou daily......sorry I NEED my caffeine! ( I only get about 5 hours of sleep/day) Wish me luck!

Yes - it can do that. It happend to me too. I cut out all simple carbs and significantly reduced my "adult beverages". I also reduced/eliminated my snacks. I figured out I was eating more than I needed too and wasn't listening to my body, but eating according to the clock. I also cut out some of my lattes... but we all have our vices!!
Are you still supplementing with protein shakes?
When I did that - the scale started going down again. I didn't go hog wild with doing the above things, so I didn't feel deprived. The tool still works! Trust me!

I have been eating far to much junk! I hadn't been doing shakes for quite awhile. I decided to start while I was at work. I forgot how FULL I get from them too! I think if I limit myself to my 3 meals a day and have a protien shake in between I will be good......I really just need to get back to the basics! I havn't been doing the adult beverages very often and I only do Caribou Northern Light Lattes with 1/2 the flavor shots......but I can't give them up.......lol I will however give up the minimum 3 cans of diet mt dew I drink/day instead of my H2O........I've been bad......so very bad.....I'm going to do the protien shakes for this week and make myself some healthy meals over this next week and start freezing them for when I'm ready to start solids again. I have to start planning my meals or I will be a BIG failure AGAIN! And I can't have that!!!!

Ava I think you just called me a compulsive overeater..........I'm sure I could fit into that catagory in one way or another. I just don't see myself as one. Maybe I'm in denial maybe I'm not. I think seeing the scale go UP for the first time certainly freaked me out! I have been eating mostly quick high carb high fat food choices the last few weeks because I've gotten lazy.......It's easier to grab a cheese burger than it is to prepare a healthy nutritous meal......That said I will start to pay better attention to my "habits" and see if you're on to sumthin!
