 Oh Sandi, I'm so relieved to read this report.  Acid production is a common side of the VSG so i take a PPI twice a day to counteract it.  Everyone is right, acid reflux is such a better outcome than any of the other options.  

Thank you Lee!  Hey, I also lost 2# in the hospital, not exactly the right way, it was starvation with all the tests I couldn't eat.  LOL, I am down to 153!  Are you still trying fitway.com.  I go over on my carbs some days and don't get enough protein but it is still better than before. 

Phew!  What a relief!  I hope that this mystery is solved once and for all.

Thank you Heather.  Your advise the other day really did help and I asked my Dr. some of the things we talked about.  I am a nurse but I am still a patient too!
