I'm officially out of my funk and 8.5 lbs. lighter!
Congrats on the 8.5 lbs.!!! Sometimes when we increase our calories and then drop down it gets us going again.
We are definitely not perfect on this board and we all have had bad days but the best way to beat those days is to fess up and ask for encouragment. Avoiding us shouldn't be an option.....we never bash anyone on this board, so don't be afraid to post.
You are putting way to much pressure on yourself. When you start dening yourself thats when you fail. I pretty much always have a snack at night. I just try to make a good choice like you mentioned. I was on a popcorn kick for awhile but lately it's been yogurt, SF pudding, or protein hot chocolate.
Check out and Post on Menus and Miles. That keeps me accountable every day.

Roz...I am particularly admiring of your success because you are a RNY girl like me. How ever did you lose so much weight? You've said before that you stopped worrying about getting your protein in through food and went to shakes. But those shakes are pretty high in calories. What was a typical day's eating like for you in your weight loss phase? And I would really love to know your schedule for vitamins/calcium etc if you don't mind writing it down. i'm still floundering around trying to get it right.

Hi Kathy, I had missed you and wondered where you were. Just remember WLS is a journey and just like any trip, there are stops along the way. I don't believe any one on the LW board will "beat you up", I have always found them to be caring .....so next time you feel that way, get on here and post. Great jobon the 8+pounds,YOU ROCK, Brenda
Kathy,
Congrats on the 8.5 pounds!!
I doubt there are many here that are perfect all the time. I know for sure I'm not!! I usually put it down and go on to do better next time. I think writing it down is better than not writing it down and pretending it didn't happen.
I would say drink lots and lots of water and do some exercise. Post your food on Menus and Miles each day. If you don't drop the 30+ don't beat yourself up - that is alot to drop in 1 1/2 months, just keep going in the right direction and you will get there!!
Welcome back - you can do this and we are here for you!!

Hi Toni! You're such a sweetie- And always so upbeat! How'd you get to be that way anyway? hee hee. Thanks for giving me your straight up opinion on the 30lbs. That just might be a little overly ambitous. I'm glad you pointed that out. It would have been nice though. But you are right.... we are all gonna get there... and we're all gonna stay there too, right? RIGHT!
So are we on for NYC on Monday, the 22nd? I wish we could meet later in the week, but Rosa can only do Monday. I wonder if that has changed. We will figure it out! Can't wait!
