Hi- psworker here, 7 months out. HW-252, SW-231, CW, 165. All fat has left my behind (VERY odd for me) and finding it difficult to sit in any regular chairs w/o pain. Bone**** the chair! Does this situation even out in time with redistribution, or should I plan to carry a cushion at all times? Thanks!  Jenny

Hi ps worker-I have the same problem at 11 mos out so hopefully someone will give us both some good advice. I find myself trying to sit kinda rolled or curled to one side. When that bu** cheek goes numb, I switch sides LOL-never thought that i would have that problem!

I have tailbone pain frequently and I recently broke my ankle cuz my leg fell asleep.....I'm hoping if I start building my butt up with muscle it wont be so bad.  I had a CT back in September and got to see my insides.  My tailbone literally has skin over it and I have little to traNO glutes left!  I've read somewhere recently that when we are obese our nerves compensate and create larger longer bundles as we lose our weight rapidly we still have all those "extra" nerve endings only now they are more concentrated into a smaller area which can make us hypersensitive.  I don't know how accurate that is but is makes sense to me considering our bone mass increases to support our weight.

IMO they only solution is to start doing squats and lunges to build up that booty so we have something to sit on!........LOL

I never realized how boney my butt was getting until I flopped down on my back deck and thought I broke something! I am a horrible car-rider now and used to love road trips. I'm a full time student and I am constantly re-adjusting in my seat at school. I can't lay on my side because of my hips and my knees either. I don't sit down that much anymore unless I have to anyway. I guess it's a small price to pay to be thin and feel great and full of energy!

So I am just beginning to suffer from tailbone pain when I sit....if I sit forward and off of my tailbone I'm OK...but otherwise I sit on my neck pillow...It's a U shape and I put my tailbone in the hole part and sit on the sides...like a donut...it's great...try it...it takes the pressure off of the tailbone...good if you sit at a desk...sitting on your side is not good for your spine and posture long term...or your hips...SEAVIEW

Thanks everyone. Sorry about all those sore tailbones. My tailbone is fine, it's the bone on each side in the middle of the buttocks that hurts. May be carrying a soft cushion wherever I go in case hard chairs are the only ones available. Take Care All, Jenny
