Let me say hello...........
Hi everyone, I'm Ashley but always go by Ash ;o) I'm not new to OH but I thought I would try out the Lightweights forum. I used to be very active over on the Post-op Pregnancy boards but haven't been on much after having our last baby 11 months ago.
I've really missed OH and the support I felt when being a active member of such a great support group. I really need this to help me remember the import things about life Post-Op and staying on track. I'm over 3 years out RNY. I'm a stay at home mom to 3 great little munchkins ages 7 yrs, 2 yrs and 11 months. I've been blessed to have had 2 of my 3 children since having WLS. I truly believe had I not had RNY I would have never had the chance to have more than one child.
I'm preparing for my plastics journey in the spring of next year and I'm super excited about it! I hope to get on a better work out routine and prepare my body for its next chapter in completing my post-op body!
This Friday my sweet husband is going to see my surgeon for his seminar and consult. He too is a lightweight but has HPP and GD. We can only hope and pray he is approved for WLS. He's wanting to have the Sleeve. Sadly if our insurance doesn't approve him (we have Aetna) then my "plastic surgery" savings will be going to him so that he can be self pay for the Sleeve. So.....everyone cross your fingers and toes! He could really benefit from this as you all know! LOL
Anyway.....just wanted to introduce myself and say hello from Texas!
