Fitness Challenge - November 10
Yup, mid week here....time flies. Woke up to snow on the ground. WTH...I am not really a snow bird. Actually anything below 70 is cold to me and I whine...lol Right now the hubby is in Florida on some training and he says its 76 there now. Um, there was 1 inch of snow on the ground this morning...he's a brat!! lol

The only time I ever sweat is when I'm working out. I wasn't even at goal yet this summer, but was never hot. I'm cold now when it's 60 outside. I guess it's another reason to work out.
Today was supposed to be my day off but...that didn't go so well lol.
My dr gave me some medicine that coats my stomach and allows me to take ibuprofen, so my hip has been feeling good. I just did 45 minutes on the treadmill, plus some push-ups. Not a full work out since it's my day off.

Snow? Ice? I dread it. I prefer to run outdoors and the treadmill I have is a dinosaur. Not sure what I'm going to do when it gets "dangerous" to run. I'll run in the pouring down rain, but I don't want to run in the ice and slip and screw everything up.
At 5:00 am, I ran 5 miles on the hill route. I really didn't want to go, but I made myself. So happy I did now! I had to strip off my gloves and jacket during the run because it was pretty warm out.

Samba class tonight was great! But then I konked out towards the end. I barely had the energy to go in the first place, but went anyway since it was my plan and I knew I had to check in with y'all. ;)
Seriously, though. Accountability works!
Meanwhile, the scale's not budging. I started getting really frustrated, but then I saw that my period showed up this morning. 2 weeks early! grrr...
At least that helps explain the scale. The bad thing is that I started wondering "well, if I'm not gonna lose weight this week, and if I'm gonna be all tired, then why bother working out?" and then I remembered that when you retain water, you lose it eventually, and then I can get a nice strong number on the other side. Oh, and numbers aren't everything and I can work on toning, etc. So I went to Samba, and while I didn't have the energy I had last week, I still went, and made it through the class.
