whiney baby here
Sandi, I hope you feel better soon. You are not a whiney baby!! If you have a pain, they need to find out what is causing it.
I had a pain over a month ago but it was above my belly button and in the middle of my chest. They think I had irritated my pouch. I took Carafate(?) for about a week every 2-3 hours and it hasn't hurt since then.

Thank you Linda! I guess before my WLS I was basically healthy even though I know I was heading down a road where eventually my obesity would start causing health problems. I am going to see my Dr. tomorrow.
I am glad your pain is gone and they figured out what was wrong! I know you are right, they need to find out what is causing mine!
Thank you.

Hi Shannon, I took prilosec for 3 months post-op then didn't have to take it anymore. I took it for a short time again before they figured out it was my gallbladder bothering me. I started taking some pepcid and it has helped some but I still have some prilosec. I guess I just never experience heartburn before, if that is what it is it is quite painful.
I am so glad you are seeing the doc tomorrow.
Just to make sure you dont have a stone stuck in the bile duct or something, or working on an ulcer.
The symptoms I was having felt like I needed to eat something, but if I did, I didnt get any relief. I also was experiencing alot of restriction, couldnt eat or drink very much. Prilosec seemed to do the trick. I am already on pepcid twice a day for 6 months per surgeon's orders, along with actigall.
You are not a whiny baby! You are a LW Babee! Hang in there and feel better soon!
