I just made a deal with a coworker of mine to purchase thier home gym.  I'm so excited I can't stand it!  I just have to decide where to put it!  I already have the elliptical, mini trampoline, exercise ball, kettle bells, bars with 50lbs in plates, resistance tubes, resistance bands, small medicine balls.....geez.....I'm almost gonna have a real gym in my house.....all I need is a BOSU and a good set of hex dumbells and I'll have it all.....lol

The gym is a
Life Fitness G5 Cable Motion System with bench

You are right about the NO EXCUSES part......I only like to go to the gym if I have a personal trainer there with me so I hope this will be the ticket for me!

Thanks,
Heather

I have a treadmill, weight bench, and tower with a dip-stand, pull-up bar, and push-up handles (not sure what these are really called). I LOVE it! I roll out of bed, throw on gym clothes and start working out without leaving my house. It was the best thing I have ever done!

I hope having this will get and keep me motivated.......my only problem will be keeping my 3 year old away long enough to do what I need to do......lol

I have an 18 month old (along with my 10 and 7 year olds). That's why I started getting up at 4am to work out. It's the only time of day that I have quiet alone time.

I wi**** was that easy for me......I work overnights and don't get to sleep until noon when my 3 year old goes to school....I'm usually exhausted at that point......my 14 year old gets her off the bus and i sleep for a few hours before I get up to make dinner.  Then I get ready for work.......If I work out b-4 I have to go to bed I can't sleep so I want to do it after I wake up......my youngest is autistic so I can't just tell her to go play cuz if she wants mommy she is relentless........AND she only wants me when she can't have me......lol  I'm just gonna have to get up early.....(4 hours of sleep) and LOCK myself in the basement to workout!

Heather - you are so cool!

I think that I would have to decide between that machine and a sofa - my little apartment is so small!  :)  ("Sure, just have a seat on the bench."  I guess I'd have to say that to my guests)

Anyway, this is really wonderful, and I know it will help you to reach your lifting goals!

(I do have a gym in my building, though.  It has everything.  I just hate gym workouts - I get bored too quickly, even with the tvs.)  I admire people who can push through and really do their workouts this way.  I just have to be outside with the stimulation, or in a class full of people or something.

LOL Thanks!

I might have to dismantle the family room a little to make room but it'll be worth it!  I was gonna move the TV and entertainment center out but then I remembered I need the TV if I wanna work out to any dvd's I have.......and to watch while I'm on the elliptical......AND my 14 year old would just DIE if I took it out all together......lol
