Fitness Challenge - November 8

Good morning LW's....the start of a new week. It's a short work week for me so that's always good news. My oldest son moved back home again and the stress level is back high again so my goal is to beat it out of me this week in the gym...lol

My plan today, if all works out well is to go workout for 45 minutes of high intensity elliptical. Also, I will add pull ups and push ups (thanks Gina for the inspiration!!!)

What are you going to do this lovely Monday? Do you have any special goals this week? My special goal is to try to run 3 miles this week to get moving again. I bough some real good compression garments (spanx) at the store and they felt great on...so...I'm going to try them out this week.

Good Morning! Tonight I go to my Rep Reebok class that will focus on core and general strength training. I'll be sore for sure!

Just last week, I found some compression running pants at Walmart. I've never seen them there before and they were only $11 (I paid $36 for my last pair). They are Danskin Now brand. One thing is that they run big. I had to get a small....and though I am smaller, I am really not a small.

After running my 10 miles yesterday (and not having it be so hard), I am really stoked about keeping up on the fitness and running 4 days this week and strength training 2.

30 min free weight lifting 3 sets of various moves
15 pd bar bells treadmill 30 min running 4.7

Let's shake it indeed!

I'm off (if I can get myself out of the office) to run back over to Alvin Ailey - tonight, if I get there by 7, for Hip Hop.  If not, I'll go to the Masala Banghra (Bollywood) class at 8.  I'm just noticing that when I do late workouts, it's hard to convince my body to go to sleep afterwards.  So I'd better stop typing & get up outta heah!

This'll be my first of either class, so please wish me luck!

Hi Diana - I'm baaaack!!!

I know what you mean about stress.  My job is killing me right now.  I've decided that I will feel much better if I do some exercise instead of continuing to slide back into my old habits of eating the feelings away.

3 Miles of the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds.  I can already feel the soreness.

My niece wants me to come and do a 5K with her in December.  I told her I would so I have got to get back to exercising.

I got 3 walks in to day but only 10 push-ups. I kept getting phone calls while I was walking and that's when I do my push-ups and I'm not paying for the other guy to listen to me breathe heavy. lol
