Holiday Challenge - November 7th
Jane, it's so difficult to know what will work and what won't. I recently changed my totals in myfitnesspal . com to see if I can change it up and get things moving. I know my body is not meant to have all this fat on it but I can't seem to find the formula for letting it go right now.
You've done great. I don't think it's a bad idea to just hang and accept that this little plateau will end. You may be eating a little differently over the weekend and it just may get you going again!
Have a great time at the bridge tournament!

Hello Lee.....I'm a day late posting.....Sunday is so busy....
The great news is that my weight has stayed at 170 for 3 days....so I updated my tickers!! The last few days have been tough and I am trying really hard....and doing great considering, I can't perform aerobic exercise due to an old injury!!! This Holiday Challenge has been the best thing for my weight loss motivation!!!
Thanks!!!!

Hi Lee,
I had a great week and pray that this week will be as successful as lasts. I lost 2 pounds last week, increased my protein quite a bit ( I am shooting for 100g per day) and trying to keep calories under 1000. Thank you Lee for introducing the challenge, it is keeping me motivated.Last week my ulcer pain started up again and kinda knocked me on my bu******. This week I intend to get back in the pool and have two day trips planned which will mean lots of walking. The scales weren't my only success'- those size 6 jeans were an incentive to keep on keepin on.
Have a great week!

Hello Lee and fellow challengers. I've been doing pretty well this week. My focus was getting some really good skills/behaviors on board rather than a certain wt loss (I was just sleeved on 10/20) I have been doing ok with light walking but nothing to vigurous because I had a dbl hernia repair as well.... but today I went back to the Y and got a really good brisk walk in on the treadmill which felt GREAT! I am doing well with eating 3 times a day plus one protein shake... what I need to work on is getting my fluids up and finding out how to get my supplements all in... I always seem to get sick after taking them... sometimes the bariatric advantage chewable one is ok if I have taken it with a meal... but sometimes not!!! For now my surgeon has me popping tums (in addition to my ppi)....... My wt loss was very fast 1st week and has really slowed down now which is frustrating but I am down 2 sizes this month so for sure things are changing. Hoping increasing the fluids and the activity will help the wt loss as well as get my tummy "working" again! :-) Amy
