Fitness Challenge - November 7
Good morning LW's
Happy Daylight Savings!! We got an extra hour sleep!! I think I shall celebrate it with a nap later on!!
Today my shoulders are sore from pullups yesterday and my back from the push ups. Feels great!!!
I think I shall work on the lower body today like lunges or something. I probably will not do any cardio today. I will just work on errands and the fun stuff of getting ready for the upcoming week. I do have a very short workweek this upcoming week so that should be easy to prepare for.
What about ya'll....whatcha got planned/do?

I reset the time on my pedometer and went tanning today. I am doing a little laundry, so up and down stairs is about all I got for you.

It's the NYC Marathon, which is sooooo inspiring. I can't believe these folks who run the 26 miles in these short times. They are my s/heroes!
Ah. Yesterday, for some reason I ate a ton of food. Way too much. Really, it wasn't that much, but it felt like it to me. So...I broke my pattern of resting on the weekend and worked out today.
I went to Zumba at 11:30 and then Pilates at 12:30. Yup. That KICKED MY BUTT. More than ever.
Good news is that the scale now says 156, which is down one lb since I last weighed! Given that I'm trying to lose around 3 lbs a week in order to reach my November 30th Holiday Challenge milestone of 149, I think this places me in good position to make it - perhaps even a little early...
All that is good news. But the best news is that I'm starting to look pretty darned good in my workout gear. Today I wore thin leggings, a sports bra and a t-shirt, and my legs didn't look gross! That's a big deal to me. I shall post pictures of this progress later - I'd rather take a photo when I actually feel good about it, and I'm not quite there, but maybe I will be by 150...

yayyyyyy for uuuuuu. cant wait to see pics
a lot of my gym wear is from victoria secrets. when i go to the gym i have to look and feel great so as much as i make a fashion statement with my regular clothes i surely make a fashion statement at the gym lolol but im not one of those woman that wear huge earrings false eyelashes lipstick etc and if u do< whatever floats your boat i just dont lolol
but i do like to wear nice things

10 mile run today. It was pretty warm, 55 degrees. Right when we got up to our big hill, down came the rain! We got completely soaked, but it felt so awesome and it cooled us down. To date, this has been my second longest run.

today was a beautiful sunny day here in ny a*****h mentioned nyc marathon was today .my son and i said for sure we will be running it next year i had to do 8 am mass after that, i had my protein drink and got into my gym gear. drove to the lake , and i ran and ran and ran around and around and around i went. i felt like " Forest Gump" lol
my Son who lives in manhatten came for dinner then we all went to visit my fil in the hosp they r running tests to see why his leg is numb. it was a good visit. i made Bread pudding for him thats his favorite desert
