Water tips!
I've been finding it easier lately to get in my fluids, so I thought I would list how that is happening.
1. First thing, before coffee, drink a glass of water (8 oz)
2. Mix about 4 oz water in with protein powder for morning coffee (I count the coffee as 8 oz too)
3. Take a 12 oz water bottle in car with me. Drink 1/2 on way to work and 1/2 on way home. I just leave it in the car while I'm at work.
4. Drinking tea -- about 2 cups a day, which tastes and feels so good on these fall days. (16 oz)
5. Drink a glass of water before dinner. (8 oz)
6. TRY to get in another protein drink (Nectar) in the evening w/ about 10 oz water.
So, for me this is an easy way to get in at least 66 oz. I often drink a bit more, but thought I would share this in case anyone else is struggling.

Thanks for the tips. I've never been good at getting my water in - and it ends up being hit and miss, especially if I'm not at work.

I'm sitting here working on 32 oz of fluids right now that I told myself I have to finish before dinner.
I seem to do better at work because I just constantly drink herbal tea all day. I don't count the fluids in my shakes but maybe I should! I drink 16 oz of tea before work in the morning.
It's always great to have reminders about getting in the fluids!

Thanks for the tips. I really need to increase my fluids and now that the weather is finally cooling down a bit, I think I will adopt your idea of water in the car. (trust me-water in 90 degree weather is horrible!)
I've also found that I can play a game with myself when I take my morning meds. I keep a bottle of water near my bed and I make myself drink the bottle with my meds each morning. The first half goes down easy. The second half, not so easy, but I get to feel proud that I started my day off right.
