Intro.

Hello All,

New to the forum and I wanted to give a short introduction. I am married to a wonderful man with two boys (ages 11 & 4), and my big goofy fur-baby (Harlequin Great Dane). I work for the FAA and love (well most of the time anyway) my job. I was born and have been raised in Southern Louisiana and live North of Baton Rouge. I am having my VSG on Nov. 19th and can't wait to start living my life again!

Hi there!  Congrats on getting your surgery date. I have a good friend that lives down your way and she also has a Harlequin Great Dane. She's on the DS board mostly but she would qualify as a light weight too. Maybe you guys can meet up sometime. Let me know if you want to be able to talk to someone about 3 years post-op. DSrs learn to work with sleeve issues too...we're cousins (DSrs and VSGrs) after all.  I'll point her to your post and see if she can drop by and say "hi".

Welcome! This is a great forum and we are glad u found us. I might suggest that you check out the "menus and miles" thread where we post out ,well,menues and miles,each day lol. I find that the journaling is a tremendous help for me  when I can see too many cals or not enough,etc.
