Pssst..... Can you see...
The Size 12 tag hanging off my new Lee jeans?
I'm so dang happy I couldn't stop jumping up and down in the dressing room. Tried on three pairs of size 12 and they all fit. Only bought one pair because I have my eye on a pair of 10's in my closet.
It seems to take me 15 pounds to go down a jeans size. Hopefully the last pounds will take me to a size 8 before I'm done.
From a 22/24 eight months ago to a 12 today. That feels great.
I finally feel like I've made it to the next step on this journey. 12 sounds so dang respectable to me. I want to wear them with the tag on all weekend, but I won't!
Did I mention enough times how great I feel?

Wow!!! Congratulations!! I'm with you....a size 12 is definitely respectable! I was thrilled to get in a 14 but it's still to close to "women's sizes". You and I are about the same.....I just got into 12's myself (a little tight but wearable!) How tall are you?? I'm a true pear...I'm already in a size small on the top but still a little wide on the bottom !
Way to go!!!! Enjoy those 12's.....but not for too long!!!

Hi Peyton,
I'm an overflowing hourglass. I'm in a medium or large depending on the brand on top. The girls are still DD or DDD and demand a little more material. I still reach for the XL tops though. Hard to break after being 2x and 3x for so long.
I'm 5'4". How tall are you? You're right about the 14's being still too close to the women's sizes.
I love these 12's and still have 14's that run small that I can wear. I do have 1 pair of 10's that are stretch jeans that button and zip but I wouldn't wear them anywhere except at home because my legs look like tight little sausage casings.
Congrats on your 12's as well!! We ROCK! :)

Oh to be an hourglass.....you are gonna look awesome at goal! I think I will always be a pear....I do like all my curves much better now that I am down a couple sizes!
I am exactly 5 feet tall.....and have a small frame.....at my current weight I am still significantly overweight. BMI charts say I'll have to weight about 120 to be normal....can't see that in a million years!
Thanks for the offer of the jeans but I have TONS of smaller sizes waiting on me.....I've been shopping on ebay and have a petite friend who gave me a bunch of her "fat" clothes!!!
Wear those 12's with style today!!!

Way to go Lee!! Congrats on the 12's. I think it takes less weight to drop a size the smaller you get so you will be in those 8's before you know it.
I went to buy some jeans the other day and I am getting so confused about the sizes. I took a 10 Short-Kim Rogers from Belk's in the dressing room and they were baggy so I tried an 8 and the legs were so baggy got a 6 and they were still big in the legs so it must be the cut of that particular kind. The jeans I had on were the same brand and a 10 and they fit ok. I left with no jeans only 3 shirts. It got so cold here so fast and I only had 2 long sleeve shirts that fit.
I wish I had a lot of money to go clothes shopping, but still hoping to drop another size or two.
