First gain....???

Yesterday and today I weighed in at 156 (2 pounds above where I was last week). I'm so frustrated! This is my first bump up since surgery.

Anyway, I have been snacking a bit on carbs this week and need to stop it. I just wanted to make a public acknowledgement of this.

I am going to eat under 50 carbs a day for the rest of the week and under 1000 calories.

My hope is that doing that will get me back on the losing track!

I think it is amazing that you have never had a bump before this!!!  I bump up/stall all the time, and have since after the first month.  It is frustrating.  But I have never kept carbs under 60!!!  However, my wt loss has been good. 

I am glad you are going to get back on track and it really should help, but try not to be too hard on yourself, you have been very successful!!  Your goal wt. is in site, do you think you can get there my the end of the yr.!  Good luck!!

Posting accountability, I find works well for me. Carbs are the devil.. and can throw a monkey wrench in even our best days!!

Now - I never hit a bump when in my active weight loss phase. NOW? Oh absolutely! Ok - maybe once, during my TOM, but it was a pound and came right back off..

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

I have a hard time when I get caught up in carbs!!  I love most all of them and have to totally come off the bad ones.

I think you have a great plan and know that you will be successful.  You have done a great job so far - keep it up!!

I had too many carbs alittle over a week ago and showed a 3# gain, it took a week to get them off....Hang in there!!!

it is aggravating all right. I have never had a stall but have had two gains one of half a pound around 6 mos and one last week 5.5#! It was carbs for me too. I have already lost 4.25 of that 5# so hope to be status quo by next weigh day.

I don't like it when the scale goes up. I have gotten spoiled to it only going down since my VSG,lol.
