Can I hang you lightweight peeps??? (photo intro included!)

Hello there Lightweights!!

I have lurked over here a bit but never made an official introduction.  I have pretty much only hung out on the Mexico and the VSG boards until now but since I am very near to goal I feel I need a smaller group to bond with.  I LOVE the VSG board but there are sooooo many posts and soooooo many newbies I just can't keep up and honestly I get really tired of the same questions being posted several times a day by different posters...not trying to be rude and I'm glad there are people there to answer their questions, but it's tiring to read through and I definitely don't have to time to help them out.  Anywho, you all seem like a great group and seem to have fun and help each other so here I am!   Here is my life in a nutshell, in pics!

This is what I do...hubby and I own and operate an architectural door company and yes, he is quite handsome! lol  We just celebrated our 20th anniversary!



We have 3, yes 3 boys (14, 12, and 5) who all have major ADD so it's pretty crazy around our house!



This is my other baby....Pippin, a ginormous Pomeranian....so very cuddly!



This is Bandit, my fat kitty boy!  He needa a VSG! lol



This is my fat self the day of surgery at 248 pounds....yuck!!



This was at 6 months out (mid September) at 173 pounds...75 lost!




This was about a week ago on my 41st birthday at 167 pounds!

I LOVE your intro, and am grateful that you don't want to hang us.  Hanging is cruel.  Hanging out is cool!  (I'm here all night, folks)

Your kitty is adorable - there's nothing better than a fat cat.  And I had one who is pretty much his identical twin (I assume he's a maine coon?)  Huge kitty, very lovable, and loved to play fetch.  Since I live in a little NYC apartment 30 floors up, I gave him away to a wonderful 80 year old lady who had just lost her kitty.  She loves him so much and has a huge house with windows for him to look out of all day, so he's happy.  

Anyway, it's great to have you on the LW board.  You look amazing, and you have such a beautiful family!  Can't imagine what it's like to live amongst all that testosterone...

And what gorgeous doors!  I'm a huge fan of doors.  When I build my house one day, I want to import doors from Spain - the doors of Barcelona make my heart sing!

Would you like to join us for the Holiday Challenge?  (i.e. what are your goals for the end of the year?) The Fitness Challenge?  (accountability for workouts) Menus & Miles?  (logging your food and exercise)  These regular threads are great.

Again, welcome!  Can't wait to celebrate with you as you meet your goals.  

Btw, when I first read your title, my brain just automatically inserted a comma after hang, which makes it totally ok.  

Thank you so much for your warm welcome!!  I will definitely be thinking about joining a challenge.  With my goal weight approaching I will need a new focus for sure...probably in the fitness area. lol
