I am wondering if I am doing this right...I lost about 16 pounds the 1st three weeks and then nothing, in fact I put on 2 pounds. I am getting protein. Would someone mind looking at my typical day and let me know if I am off track?
Breakfast- coffee with sugar free hazelnut creamer and 2 splenda
                  weight control oatmeal
snack-      protein shake 100 cal 26 grams of protein.

Lunch      soft cooked chicken

snack-      coffee with hazelnut creamer
                 low fat cheese stick

Dinner-      chicken cheese burger
                  brocoIi
can eat pretty much all of this, never feel uncomfortable full, trying to stay with in the 1/2 to 1 cup of food
I drink caffine free tea or water all day. I do get in at least 64 ounces.
Any ideas?

I'm a carb Nazi, so I would say cut the oatmeal and add another shake, but that's just me. I stayed low carb until I was really close to goal. I think veggies like your brocoli are fine but I'm not in favor of grains and definitely not sugars. Keep up the fluids; you're doing fine.

Your weight loss looks pretty good.  A stall at 3 weeks is very, very common.  It usually lasts a week or two and then you'll start going down again.  I agree watch the carbs and kick up the protein.  I know we are all different but if you are able to actually eat a whole cup of food without getting uncomfortable that sounds like a lot.  You're body and your new pouch are still healing and sometime the the nerve signals are still a little off.  If it were me, I would go for the solid protein as per your docs instructions and try to keep that at 1/2 cup and then supplement with protein shakes.

Just a thought...

Keep us updated on your progress.

I'm a month further out than you.  I know my Nut says no SF creamer, it is just soild fats.  She says use skim milk.  I use Nectar latte in my decaf.  I still can get in only about 1/2c of food at a meal.  Are you tracking your protein anywhere.  This site has a tracker that is pretty easy to use.  I also list my food each day on Roz's post "miles and menus"  Helps me stay on track and see what others are eating.

Looks like you are doing really well, to me!  I am not a carb Natzi though.  It is not uncommon to stall at 3 wks, I know I did, and had/have frequent bump ups/stalls along the way.  Seems like a lot of folks that keep carbs 30-60 a day might loose a little faster, I don't know. I didn't/don't, and have been doing well too.  I am more of the philosophy that calories are calories, when you take in less than you burn you loose weight.  I am able to eat 1 cup of food at a time and it seems to be working.  I do try to keep calories around 1000 and protein around 80gm,  as I said, I don't really bother about the carbs, but seem to adverage around 80gm a day.  All that being said, we all are a bit different, if you want to change it up or try something different, I sure wouldn't discourage you, but I do think you are doing well, and your wt loss is great!!!

Thank you for the replies. I will try a shake in the morning instead of oatmeal. The creamer I use says 1 Gram of fat , I can reduce that to 1 cup with creamer and 1 black (don't like milk in coffee) I am also going to try and add more exercise, I am feeling like I have more energy so it is time to amp that up.
Again Thanks for the suggestions, it is always nice to get input form others.

Also....I think that measuring is really impportant right now becasue I rarely feel full and from what I understand those nerve endings take a while to come back.
